Itinerary
Arrive at Moscow Airport (Sheremetyevo or Domodedovo), where a local guide and private vehicle will transfer you to your hotel in central Moscow, such as Azimut Hotel Smolenskaya Moscow. After check-in, explore Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral, followed by a walk along historic Arbat Street. Overnight stay in Moscow.
After breakfast, visit the Kremlin complex, including the Cathedrals and the Armoury Museum. Continue to Christ the Savior Cathedral, followed by a leisurely walk in Gorky Park or Zaryadye Park. Spend some free time shopping at local markets or malls (e.g., GUM or TSUM). Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Moscow.
In the morning, take a domestic flight to Murmansk. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Murmansk city center (e.g., Azimut Hotel Murmansk). Visit the Alyosha Monument for panoramic views of the Barents Sea and city, followed by the Murmansk Regional Museum that focuses on Arctic history and WWII Arctic Convoys. Enjoy a walk along Murmansk Embankment and visit the Lenin Nuclear Icebreaker Museum. Overnight stay in Murmansk city hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Aurora Village near Teriberka. Check in at the Aurora Village Igloo, offering a unique Arctic accommodation experience. In the evening, participate in a guided Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) tour, seasonal from September to April. Arctic activities include husky sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tundra walks, and Ofuro-style outdoor bath. Overnight stay in Aurora Village Igloo.
Enjoy a full day of Arctic exploration at Aurora Village. Participate in activities such as husky sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tundra walking, and relaxing in Ofuro bath. Capture scenic photo opportunities of the Arctic tundra. Depending on season and weather, there is a chance for a second Northern Lights viewing session. Overnight stay in Aurora Village Igloo.
After breakfast, transfer (approx. 2–3 hours) to Apatity or Kirovsk. Visit the Khibiny Mountains, ideal for hiking and photography. Explore the Museum of Local Lore in Apatity to learn about Arctic mining history and geography. Overnight stay at a hotel in Apatity/Kirovsk.
After breakfast, transfer to Murmansk Airport for a domestic flight back to Moscow. Upon arrival, transfer to Moscow International Airport for onward departure.
