Itinerary
Upon arrival at Moscow Airport (Sheremetyevo or Domodedovo), you will be welcomed by a local guide and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel in the city center, such as the Azimut Hotel Smolenskaya Moscow. After check-in, the afternoon will be spent exploring Moscow’s iconic landmarks. You will visit Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral for photo opportunities, followed by a leisurely walk along the historic Arbat Street, known for its charm and local shops. The day concludes with an overnight stay at the hotel in Moscow.
Today is dedicated to discovering Moscow’s rich history and culture. Begin the day with a visit to the Kremlin complex, where you will explore the Cathedrals and the Armoury Museum. Afterwards, proceed to Christ the Savior Cathedral, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. Later, you can relax and take a stroll through Gorky Park or Zaryadye Park, depending on your preference. The afternoon allows for some free time to shop at local markets or malls. Overnight accommodation will be at your hotel in Moscow.
In the morning, you will take a domestic flight from Moscow to Murmansk. Upon arrival, a private vehicle and local guide will transfer you to your hotel in Murmansk city center, such as the Azimut Hotel Murmansk. In the afternoon, visit the Alyosha Monument, which offers panoramic views of the Barents Sea and Murmansk city. Continue to the Murmansk Regional Museum to learn about Arctic history and the role of Arctic Convoys during WWII. Afterwards, enjoy a walk along the Murmansk Embankment, followed by a visit to the Lenin Nuclear Icebreaker Museum, a unique Arctic attraction. The night will be spent in the Murmansk city hotel.
After breakfast, you will transfer in the afternoon to Aurora Village near Teriberka. Upon arrival, you will check in at the Aurora Village Igloo, providing a unique Arctic experience. In the evening, embark on a guided Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) tour, which is available in the season between September and April. During your stay, you can enjoy various Arctic activities such as husky sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tundra walks, or a relaxing Japanese-style outdoor bath (Ofuro). You will spend the night at Aurora Village Igloo.
The day begins with breakfast at Aurora Village, followed by a morning drive of approximately 2–3 hours to visit Apatity or Kirovsk, a region known for Arctic mining and beautiful landscapes. Visit the Khibiny Mountains, where you can enjoy hiking or scenic photo stops, and explore the Museum of Local Lore in Apatity, which provides insight into Arctic mining history and geography. In the afternoon, transfer back to Murmansk Airport for a domestic flight to Moscow. Upon arrival in Moscow, you will be transferred to the international airport for onward departure.
